Cobra Radio with throat mic, need help

So I’m looking for a throat mic and I have a Cobra Microtalk PR260-2WX VP (I got it for free, so I don’t need to upgrade to a better one yet.) I’m just wondering if this throat mic will work with it. I don’t want to spend near 50$ and have it not work.

If anyone can help me out ASAP that would be great.

Rephrasing question then. Will the Motorola talkabout connector work with the Cobra radio. (both are 2.5mm)
