Good morning, I have a couple of Brondi Fx-10 but I don’t know if I can access to CTCSS only in receiver mode, if I transmit, I don’t have filter but every squetch can listen me.
Do you have some solutions please?
CTCSS is not a filter. It prevents your radio hearing messages that do not have your tone. It keeps radios quiet. If you need to come out of their radio that has CTCSS turned on, yo7 must send their tone. If you don’t, they wont hear you. If your radio has CTCSS off, then you will hear everything on that frequency and their tone doesn’t do anything at all?
