I have a Anytone 5888uv dual band FM transciever. When the radio is left in scan mode it will lose all audio after about 30 minutes of run time. When I turn off the radio, turn off the power supply and wait about ten seconds, the audio will resume when the radio comes back on. I’m trying to decide whether to send this radio back or am I overlooking a simple fix? When the audio goes, all audio goes, the sound on external speaker and the microphone speaker all fall silent. Thanks for any counsel.

Fortunately I purchased it from Amazon, so returning it was very simple. The replacement is already on the way. It’s a great radio apart from that weird issue. I’m hoping the new radio has everything working properly.
