I ordered 2 baofeng bf-888s to use at work. My job uses RCA br250u with freqs 450-470. I know it’s probably been answered. And I know it’s not FCC accepted. I don’t know what that means or if I can still use it. Can anyone tell me if it’s possible or legal to use it with the RCA and at work and will I have to program it myself to match the freqs on the RCA?
Can’t help on the legal position as I’m in the UK, where it would be possible to use them on our business radio channels. You need to get the software and a cable, to do any reprogramming as the radios don’t have any facilities to do this on them as there are no buttons or display!
