Recommended by fellow hunters, I purchased a pair of UV-5R’s for their reputation as the best “Bang for the Buck” radio… At work I use Kenwood NX-210 radios for communication with co-workers, on our first outing with my Baofeng radios I was very impressed with the ease of function, clarity of sound, and (line of sight) transmission range. They perform as well, if not better, than the MUCH more expensive Kenwood. That is my impression from the 1st time out. cant wait until I learn more about the radio’s and how to get the most out of them… Warthog…
Update; My friend checked the radios out, and ask me to order him a set for use on his farm. will place his order tomorrow morning… UV-5R… perfect!
