So I have a baofang bf-h8td which by Chirp will program with either the uv-5r or the h8hp connections.
I am only able to transmit on gmrs if I go to frequency mode . The unit is unlocked. So is this normal or am I doing something wrong on this radio.
I have done some searching on the subject, but everything I find is the opposite issue, people are complaining about the radio only transmitting on the Channel Mode. So I am wondering why I have the opposite issue.
