I know I usually answer questions, but I have bought a pair of DR-1802 radios and within five minutes had messed them up so I did a factory reset - which was fine if you speak chinese. With google translate, I found the right menu and item 9 - changed to english. BUT while menus are in english the content of the memories have lost their english names, and are chinese. I don’t suppose anyone has a codeplug - doesn’t even matter what is in it, as long as it’s english, so I can see what goes where and replace it with the proper stuff for the UK. It could say analogue zone, which it previously said - but I’m struggling at the moment as so many memories have things in them but all with chinese text.
I’m not that enamoured yet - as it arrived it had some digital channels, which were pretty unpleasant to listen to, but oddly - analogue seems to have a latency issue? Never had this with any other radio, so it seems the processing must be digital, even if it is in FM mode. It’s not long - I’d guess 15-20ms or so? Is that normal?
