I have a Baofeng DM-X, blocked, I tried to update the firmware and it went black and I don’t know what to do with it. I don’t know how to get it back. Can somebody help me
Will it power up at all so you can reflash the firmware. People do tend to flash firmware without realising it’s often a terminal process if the battery dies or a cable is knocked during the process. I’ve heard people leaving the battery disconnected for a few days to allow the capacitors to discharge and then it will at least boot up. Sadly, the term ‘bricked’ meaning a radio as useful as one, is quite common.
