Looking for some help with a DM-1801. Everything is working good except while it’s scanning it continues scanning mid conversation. Is there a setting somewhere that will stop that and not scan until transmission is ended?

emm im about to get this radio so il need to know aswell
It’s a fairly old model now, with the dr-1801 being nicer, I think, but scanning is quite slow and limited. You need to manually stop and start it when it produces sound, or it rolls on after a few secs. If it does have a menu item for this, I never found it.
