Hi, I am looking into purchasing 2 way radios, and a family friend is selling a pair of these for $30. Does anyone have a review or opinion on these? Thanks! 
I have also a similar version without SAME,and it’s a good purchase,and for only 30 $,it’s a deal.The weather reception is OK,but it’s weak,like on my weather radio Oregon,the SAME message does’nt work properly,but only in a few situations.If you have a weather radio station in a range of 40 miles,it’s OK. 
IT’s a real utility the weather radio on FRS/GMRS units especially in summer,because the severe weather… :eek:
