Alinco Vs. Yaesu

Hello Everyone,

Looking at buying my first HF radio sometime in the near future and am interested in both the Alinco DX-SRT8 and the Yaesu FT-450D. Other than the fact that the Alinco does not have 6 meters, I’m looking for some advice as to the pros, cons, differences, and general feedback on both of the units. Currently, my two VHF rigs are Yaesu products. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It’s all about what you want and need in a radio. It all depends on the individual. So, it is really hard to say which is “better” per se. You just need to do your research and look over the functions and features. Read reviews… make a decision.
