I would like to purchase a 2-way radio set for use inside of my house (instead of an intercom). But…are 2-way radios suitable for such an application? I see they are “line of sight” devices and I presume walls would block the signals? My house is on one level but has two wings connected by a breezeway. Lots of windows. I have found 2-way radios easier to shop for than intercoms and I could take them for outside uses so this is why I am asking.
