Depends on your definition of “work”. The radios will function regardless of your location, but many countries regulate the use of frequencies differently than the US. The Cobra radios that you mentioned use GMRS frequencies, which were set asside by the United State’s FCC for consumer use. Other countries may regulate these frequencies differently, so it’s best to check the local laws of the country you are visiting before using the radios there.
