I do not own the TD H8 but it looks like TWAYDIO offers both male and female SMA connections for their antennas. So, if you order the correct connection on the antenna they should be comparable. Remove the antenna from your radio and look at the connection and then order the antenna you want with the same connector.

Most Chinese radios have an SMA male connector and the corresponding antenna has a female connector. I say ‘most’ because Wouxun is the only exception I know where some radios are SMA male like the KG-Q10H and others like the KG-UV9D Mate are SMA female. So it pays to know what you’re getting before hand so that you can purchase antenna upgrades. If the H3 is anything like my H6 it will be set up this way. To know for sure unscrew the antenna and look at the SMA connector on the radio. If you see a middle pin sticking out towards you then it’s SMA male. Hope this helps.

Sorry, he is wrong " look at the connection and then order the antenna you want with the same connector." You want the opposite of your radio connector. If It has a pin it is a male sma connector you would want a female. Its a simple mistake. Have fun.

I should have worded it better. I was talking about ordering the same connector as the antenna that fits the radio.
