Here’s a YouTube video I made about my custom built 80-foot “Tip-Tower.”
Pretty nice. I wish I had the room to do something like that.
I have always been fascinated by antennas and towers and think your tower is terrific. My question is: Do you loose performance by having such a long coax cable or is the gain that much increased by the height of the antenna? For instance. I live in Vermont. I am not in a valley but still blocked by mountains to my ESE, I’m estimating by several hundred feet. Do you think I would improve performance with a 75 foot tower, installed 20 yards from the house?
