Is it possible to use motorola mics on any motorola radio by rewiring the end plug . I have a few mic’s and want to get them to work on my Radius /Maxtrac and gm300’s

The connector pin outs and sometimes the PTT wiring in the mic head may need changing - but that said, most mics can be made to work with others - just fiddling required.
Any help available on which color goes where for the gm 300 and maxtracs . I know how to install the ends but new at the schematic reading
