Hi,

I hope this is in the correct place. I have just repaired my Motorola GP340 by purchasing a new volume POT as the previous one did not switch off… This now appears to be working however there is no sound coming from the speaker. I believe this is because there is a resistor missing which I may have knocked off whilst changing the POT. Sadly I do not own another GP340 to dismantle and check the value so I was just wondering if anyone else knows the value.

the arrow in the picture indicates the resistor I am questioning.
Thanks in advanced.

Well I know the pain there. Is the GP340 similar to the GP300? If so, I may have one sitting in a box I can pop open and take a peek. Get back to me and I will look later today and see if I do indeed still have one.
