Iam very new to ham radio.Just got my tech license jan 7.And unlike most here I have no background in this hobby.So I have a lot to learn.At the moment I have a baofeng uv-5r.Iam in florida and iam retired.And iam still amazed that with irlp I talk to people in Canada/new York and all over but that’s the fun in it.At the moment Iam looking for a mobile radio that I can use as home base My funds are a bit limited.But hope to find something nice.And hope to learn from everybody here.And I usualy have a million questions.
