As you may or may not know, this coming Saturday, October 4 is National CB Radio Day, also known as 10-4 Day. Yep, it’s a real national day, proclaimed in 1978 by President Jimmy Carter. Read for more on National CB Radio Day.
Of course, we’re having a sale for this weekend, but that’s not the reason for this post. I was thinking of doing a podcast on the state of CB radio, similar to the one we did on GMRS, and wanted to poll the TWRF community to find out where everyone thinks CB radio is and where it’s going in the next year or two. Post your comments below and tell me what you think.
- CB Radio is experiencing a renaissance and will likely return to the popularity of the '70s
- CB Radio is experiencing a resurgence in popularity and will continue to do so
- CB Radio is experiencing slight growth but will remain a niche
- CB radio is about the same with no growth and will probably remain that way
- CB radio is declining and will probably continue to do so
- CD Radio is dead
- No Opinion
- Where am I and how did I get here?
