# Batteries from China

I’ve been having real problems with battery stock from China - spares and replacements. An order of walkie-talkie batteries might only cost me 50USD, but for lithium cells they might want 150USD for the freight. I found a supplier who had what I wanted and the shipping was very reasonable. They arrived yesterday - Original manufacturer packing inside a big box - not a single warning label and contents described as radio accessories! Nowadays, with the air freight scares this is really bad. I won’t use them again, but I do now have the batteries.
