2-way radio for photographers

My wife is starting to get involved in my photography. She is learning and I have used her as an assistant and second photographer. I am considering of purchasing 2-way radios so if she has any problems or I need her somewhere, I can communicate with her without me trying to find her. The 2-way radio I was considering is the Trisquare TSX100 or TSX300. Does anybody have any experience with these radios? The radios will be used on weddings and outdoor events where there is lots of ground to cover.

For your purposes I would go with something from this list:

Midland GXT 900
Motorola MR 350R
Kenwood TK-3230

These are all light weight and the headsets variety is good.

For what you are talking about I would look at the headsets first and then decide on your radio.
