Default Motorola to Blackbox?

This is probably an easy solution, I just can't seem to figure it out.
The company I work for uses Motorola XPR 3500e radios for what we do. We have a big job coming up and need to be able to have a bunch of people using radios. So, my boss purchased Blackbox Go radios thinking they would talk to each other without doing anything to them. Problem is they don't. Any solutions?

Your boss is a pillock!

The Motorola is a high specification digital radio with lots of programmable features, and the other one has many similar, but not quite so clever features - but the good news is they should be able to talk to each other with proper programming. Out of the box, it's lottery number stuff they'll have the same programming. You need the programming software for both, or get the dealer you bought them from to sort it!

Silly question, but did you program the new radios to the frequency you are licenced for or did the radios come with preprogrammed frequencies that include the specific frequency you are licenced for?
