Question Midland MXT400 and FRS

I just received a new Midland MTX400. I noticed that, right out of the box, FRS channels 8 - 14 are skipped in SCAN mode and cannot be accessed manually. Is this indicative of normal functions on this radio?

BTW: Just found my answer. Channels 8 - 14 are not included. The MXT400 is GRMS only.

Correct. Channels 8-14 are low power FRS frequencies. The MXT400 is a GMRS only radio.
