Re: Baofeng Radio External Microphone

At first glance it looks similar to a Motorola M4 multi-pin connector, but it could also be proprietary to Baofeng. We do not carry the UV-9R so we have no accessories for it. You may need to contact...

I just finished this video with Danny on the difference between the Motorola DTR600 and DTR700 900MHz digital radios. It's short, but answers the question.

We usually don't recommend purchasing used radios for use in a specific practical application for a number of reasons.

If they are older models, they may or may not be compliant with current...

Re: New and need some help

I would also add that the Baofeng UV-5R is not the best choice of radio for a road construction site. Although it is not specifically a consumer grade radio, the UV-5R is not built for heavy...

Re: Help with second hand Motorola CP040

We are based in the US so the I cannot comment on the license requirements in the UK, but I can recommend that you do not use the pre-programmed frequencies in those radios until you find out what...

Correct. Channels 8-14 are low power FRS frequencies. The MXT400 is a GMRS only radio.

Re: Baofeng BF888s & QYT KT8900

The resolution is so poor I can barely make out the numbers, but if I am reading them correctly, you have a mashup of frequencies across several services.

Some of these are public service...

Re: Baofeng BF888s & QYT KT8900

Now I'm confused. You know how to program the radios, and when you purchased the Baofengs, you changed the frequencies, but you cannot tell us what those frequencies are. Yet you want to make sure...

Re: NEW - Motorola DLR series - rugged, licence-free, high-quality digital radios

Re: Programming Question UV5r

I'm not familiar with ACC, are you referring the FCC? If you are located in the US, the RX (receive) is a MURS frequency, and the TX (transmit) is a public safety frequency.
